Research Assistant, ISPA

I'm a doctoral student and research assistant at the Institute of Psychological, Social and Life Sciences. My research focuses on the ecology and conservation of mobile animals, from aquatic birds to sea turtles. I study the movements of individual animals using remote tracking technology to better understand how they live and to inform strategies for their effective conservation. This includes identifying important sites for the persistence of biodiversity which can inform spatial planning and protected area design.
