Martin Zeller-Jacques

Lecturer in Film and Media, Queen Margaret University

Martin joined QMU as a lecturer in Film and Media in 2013, having completed his PhD in Film and Television Studies, and a two-year full-time teaching fellowship at the University of York. In addition to his thesis, entitled Seriality and Closure in Contemporary American Television Drama, he maintains active research interests around gender and sexuality, as well as adaptation studies. He has also organised research events on Television Narrative and Public Service Broadcasting.

Martin has written about film, television and popular culture for Popmatters, The Big Picture Online and Alternate Takes. His work has also appeared in 'World Film Locations: Los Angeles' and several volumes of 'The Directory of World Cinema', published by Intellect.
