Doctoral researcher, Keele University

I am a PhD student in epidemiology and demography at the School of Primary, Community & Social Care at Keele University. My work focuses on healthy ageing in later working life, and in particular the use of the health expectancy indicator Healthy Working Life Expectancy (HWLE).

My undergraduate degree was in mathematics and I obtained my MSc in Statistics with Medical Applications from The University of Sheffield in 2017. I have developed skills in medical statistics and data science, and am interested in population health and wellbeing as well as the methodological development of health expectancy indicators and research.
