Dr. Mary R. Brooks is Professor Emerita at the Rowe School of Business, Dalhousie University. She is best known for her research on liner shipping regulation, port governance and performance, and short sea shipping; she has published more than 25 books and technical reports, more than 25 book chapters, and more than 75 articles in peer-reviewed scholarly journals. She is winner of the 2018 Onassis Prize in Shipping.
