Mathilde Cohen is a Professor of Law at the University of Connecticut. As a scholar who has gravitated from legal philosophy and constitutional theory to feminist ethics, health law, equality law, and legal sociology, she has studied court processes in different domestic and international jurisdictions as well as the regulation of food and bodies in France and the United States. Often relying on qualitative data collection, Mathilde Cohen strives to produce renewed theoretical, political, and legal engagement with food, in particular humans' first food, i.e., human milk, and its attendant issues in public and private life. https://www.mathildecohen.com
