Senior Lecturer, and Physiotherapist, La Trobe University

Dr Matthew King is a Physiotherapist and Senior Lecturer at La Trobe University's discipline of Physiotherapy. His research interests include lower limb musculoskeletal conditions, injury epidemiology and prevention with a particular focus on hip joint and concussion. His research utilities biomechanical evaluations and injury surveillance to inform and implement assessments and interventions for people with musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr King is a panel member of the International Hip-Related Pain Research Network (IHPRN), a collaborative organisation of clinicians and researchers with a special interest treating young active individuals with hip pain. He has also held appointments as a clinical consultant to the Transport Accident Commission and the Victorian branch of Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy Australia.
