Matthew S Miller

Associate Professor in Biochemistry & Biomedical Sciences, M.G. DeGroote Institute for Infectious Disease Research, McMaster University

My PhD was completed in the field of molecular virology, studying pathways of entry, gene regulation, and egress of DNA viruses. As a postdoctoral fellow, I trained in viral immunology, focused primarily on pandemic influenza and vaccinology. As an independent investigator, my expertise is primarily in the area of viral immunology, and vaccines and therapeutics designed to prevent pandemics, especially those caused by influenza viruses and coronaviruses.
