Dr Matthew Sini researches self-expression and audiences across film, television, and digital media. His new book, Pure Censorship: Dissent and Defilement in Digital Culture will be available later this year.

Outside of academia, he has also written film and TV criticism, book reviews, short fiction, essays and opinion pieces for various publications, including Overland, the ABC, Meanjin, and Crikey.
