Dr Matthew Sini researches self-expression and audiences across film, television, and digital media. He is currently writing a book on social media outrage, and co-editing a collection of essays on true crime media.

Outside of academia, he has also written film and TV criticism, book reviews, short fiction, essays and opinion pieces for various publications, including Overland, the ABC, Meanjin, and Crikey.
