I am a Research Fellow in Food Systems in the School of Agriculture and Food at the University of Melbourne. I am part of the Foodprint Melbourne project, which is investigating the resilience of Melbourne's food system to shocks and stresses.
I was awarded my PhD in 2019 at the University of Melbourne. My PhD was on 'Local food environments for a healthy equitable city: evidence to inform urban planning policy and governance in Melbourne, Australia'. I have a Master of Social Science (Policy & Human Services) and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Agricultural) from the University of Melbourne. I have worked for twenty years in population health for Victorian state and local governments.
