Meg Elkins is a senior lecturer with the School of Economics, Finance, and Marketing. She uses applied and behavioural techniques in two distinct fields of research which feed into this overarching theme of wellbeing creation. The first is in the field of cultural economics investigating implications of creative culture for community development and the second is in the field of development economics.

Meg is a regular commentator in the TV, radio and print media providing analysis for television with Nine News, 7News, SBS World News. On radio she has commentated for ABC Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and regional NSW, BBC4, JoyFMs Saturday Magazine , 3AW, and 2CC.
