Associate Professor of Education, Stockton University

Meg has been an educator for over 30 years. She spent 14 years in K-12 classrooms in public schools including Washington, DC and San Jose, CA. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Education at Stockton University in New Jersey. She teaches pre-service teachers and supports programs to recruit and train pre-service teachers to be effective urban educators. At Stockton, Meg initiated a school-supported clinical fieldwork experience for pre-service teachers in Atlantic City. The intention of this fieldwork is to show pre-service teachers how their perception of urban schools and urban students may be different than the realities. She has published and presented at national and international conferences on topics related to urban education.
