Presidential Fellow in Ethnicity and Inequalities, University of Manchester

I am a sociologist researching race and ethnicity, nationalism, violence, and collective memory. I'm currently engaged in two projects: the first considers imperial nostalgia in Britain, and the second examines representations of racialised state violence in the U.S., UK, and South Africa.
