Senior Lecturer, Media, Communication and Culture, Leeds Beckett University

I graduated in The History and Theory of Art and Design in 1997 at Leeds Metropolitan University then went on to study an MA in the Social History of Art at the University of Leeds. These studies provided the foundation for my PhD thesis on the body and virtual reality technology. Upon completion of my PhD I started publishing articles, book chapters and produced a monograph about Contemporary Representations of Virtual Reality which was published by Continuum in 2014.
