Dr Melissa Barnes' teaching experiences in the United States, Germany, Vietnam, Australia and Brunei have collectively shaped her understanding of language, literacy, assessment and teacher education in diverse educational contexts. Melissa has been a primary school teacher, a high school English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher and a university lecturer.
