Accredited Practising Dietitian; PhD Candidate, University of Wollongong

Melissa Eaton is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and PhD candidate from the University of Wollongong. She is also a weight-inclusive, mental health dietitian and has completed a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science (Food and Nutrition) graduating with distinction. She has previously worked as a research officer, which has earned her co-authorship on several high-profile publications, including research articles in World Psychiatry, BMC Medicine, and Frontiers for Young Minds.

Melissa’s PhD research investigates nutrition and mental health, with a focus on eating behaviour, disordered eating, and weight-stigma.
