Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Michigan State University

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University, where I direct the Intelligent Sensing and Mobile Systems group. My research spans the areas of ubiquitous computing, wearable and mobile technologies, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence. I am particularly interested in developing human-centered sensing and computational technologies with a special focus on health care and well-being. This fits well with an emerging and interdisciplinary research field called Mobile Health (mHealth), which aims to revolutionize current health care system and realize the vision of patient-centric personalized health care.
