Michael Allen Fox

Adjunct Professor of Humanities, University of New England

I taught philosophy from 1966-2005 at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada, where I'm also a Professor Emeritus. My special interests are: 19th century European philosophy, existentialism, environmental philosophy, ethics and animals, and philosophy of peace. I've been an Adjunct Professor at the University of New England, Australia, since 2004. I've published 7 books and more then 65 articles on a variety of subjects. My latest book is Understanding Peace: A Comprehensive Introduction (Routledge, 2014).
