Michael Bachmann

Michael is Lecturer in Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow. Previously he was Junior Professor for Theatre and Comparative Media Studies at the University of Mainz, Germany. Michael's research focuses on international and intercultural performance, as well as on theatre in relation to other art forms and institutions, including museums, legal discourse, digital media and radio. He is the author of a monograph on witnessing and Holocaust representation, and currently working on a book about dramaturgies of interiority since the 1800s.
