An experienced retailer, sales and marketing professional with entrepreneurial instinct through owning and managing a 100 year old family retail business. A passionate, enthusiastic, high energy and trustworthy team player.

Career progression has been rapid through holding senior management positions within the food sector, working at both supplier and retailer level to deliver unequalled sales performance. A Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Currently studying my Doctorate at Sheffield Hallam University in the marketing discipline of retail category management; a discipline i have 20 years of practical experience in. Presented academic papers on my research in the UK and Malaysia. Work closely with Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD), and highly committed to bring academia and practice closer together with practice-based research.
