Michael John Somers

Michael is a Professor in the Mammal Research Institute, Department of Zoology & Entomology, at the University of Pretoria. He lectures Wildlife Management modules to BSc Honours and MSc and supervises MSc and PhD students. His research group mainly works on the ecology and conservation of African carnivores but also other mammals, including marine and freshwater aquatic species.
