Michael Joseph Richardson

Lecturer of Human Geography, Newcastle University

Michael's research revolves around the social and cultural geographies of citizenship in the global city of Hong Kong. His work is influenced by postcolonialism and ideas of social justice. His work to date has investigated the racialisation of expatriate citizenship in the city. Furthermore, he leads an undergraduate fieldtrip to Hong Kong every year.
