Dr. Michael Mindzak is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at Brock University.

Dr. Mindzak has worked with students at the K-12 and postsecondary levels, educational leaders and with adult learners in both the public and private sectors. He currently teaches and supervises graduate students focusing on examining educational leadership and policy issues in the contemporary period.

Michael’s research largely concentrates on issues surrounding education, work and school reform. His research into school choice and educational change examined the evolution of charter schooling in the Canadian context. Research surrounding teachers and employment outcomes in the Canadian context also analyzes ongoing labour market dynamics and challenges facing educators as workers today. His research has been published in both academic journals and professional outlets.
