Michael O'Neill

Michael A. O'Neill's has managed 20-year parallel careers as a senior policy analyst in Canada's government and the OECD and in teaching and research at the University of Ottawa and the École nationale d’administration publique. As a consultant Michael has undertaken projects for the Government of Canada, UNDP, OECD, and Inter-American Development Bank.

Drawing on his varied background, Michael has worked with national and international governments and institutions to enhance public governance. This assistance has taken the form of in-country fieldwork, research reports, and capacity building and professional development events.

Michael completed his PhD in politics at the University of Warwick and recently completed at M.Ed., in education policy, leadership and curriculum studies at the University of Ottawa. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles and policy papers on public sector governance, social policy and professional training pedagogy.
