Michael Stewardson

Michael Stewardson is Discipline Leader, Environmental Hydrology and Water Resources in the Department of Infrastructure Engineering at The University of Melbourne.

His research interests include, ecohydraulics, hydromorphology and freshwater ecosystem management, and he is currently involved in projects on understanding hyporheic exchange and its role in stream ecosystems, monitoring and evaluation of environmental flows, improving evidence-based practice in environmental management of rivers and understanding benefits of urban stormwater harvesting on stream health
