My work is informed by intersectional approaches, critical race theory, and my own experiences working with newcomer students. I have experience teaching university students and training service providers on social justice and newcomer issues. I conduct presentations and workshops on issues related to newcomer integration and am also skilled in conducting and coordinating research with newcomers and other stakeholders. I hold an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and an undergraduate degree in Intercultural Studies.
