Adjunct Professor in the School of Computing and Communications, University of Technology Sydney

I spent 36 years with Alcatel beginning as a cadet engineer and ending as President and Chief Operating Officer. most of my career was spent in Australia but for a total of about 10 years I worked Germany, Belgium, the US and France.

After retiring from Alcatel and returning to Australia I was asked by the Federal government to lead the NBN project. I was the first employee of NBN Co and the CEO for 4 years.

After retiring from NBN Co in 2013 I have been involve in developing and delivering a number of courses in Telecommunications at UTS where I am an Adjunct Professor.
