PhD Candidate, Macquarie University

I am currently completing my PhD in Geography and Planning, in the School of Social Sciences at Macquarie University, Sydney. My research interests are human-environment relations, climate change, food systems and transitions from intensive animal agriculture to alternative proteins. My thesis is a case study about the future of the dairy sector in Aotearoa New Zealand. Drawing on systems thinking and just transitions theory, I am investigating transition pathways through multi-stakeholder perspectives to explore just food transitions for humans, non-humans and environments.
