Associate Professor, Sociology, University of Victoria

Min Zhou is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Victoria. He received his PhD (2011) and Master’s degrees (2007) from Harvard University in the United States. Before coming to North America, he obtained his undergraduate degree (2004) from Peking University in China. Min Zhou's research interests are centered on social network analysis, global networks and institutions, and East Asian societies (especially China). He has published articles in such journals as Social Forces, Social Networks, Social Science Research, Sociological Quarterly, International Sociology, Canadian Review of Sociology, ​and Journal of East Asian Studies, among others.​
