Professor Ming Hsu Chen is an expert in immigration, citizenship, law and politics. She has spent 15 years researching and teaching these subjects and has a new book coming in spring 2020, Pursuing Citizenship in the Enforcement Era (forthcoming Stanford Press). She is a professor at the University of Colorado and serves as Faculty-Director of the Immigration and Citizenship Law Program. She is a member of the Colorado Advisory Committee to the US Commission on Civil Rights. Professor Chen holds doctoral degrees in law and politics from Harvard University, UC Berkeley, NYU Law School.
