Mischa Young

[EN] Mischa Young is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban Environments at the Université de l’Ontario Français in Toronto, Canada. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Davis, and received his Ph.D. From the Department of Geography & Planning at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on emerging transportation technologies and the future of mobility – of both goods and individuals – within the urban landscape. He is especially interested in the equity concerns that these new technologies may engender, and the ways in which policies may be used to modulate behaviours. Beyond researching how to leverage new mobility technologies to design more equitable and sustainable cities, he is also an avid cyclist and an urban tree enthusiast!

[FR] Mischa Young est professeur adjoint dans le pôle d’études et de recherches en Environnements urbains à l’Université de l’Ontario français. Dr Young est titulaire d’un doctorat en urbanisme de l’Université de Toronto et a suivi des études postdoctorales à l’Université de Californie, Davis, au cours duquel il a poursuivi des recherches sur les nouvelles technologies de transport urbain. Ses recherches et publications portent entre autres sur l’économie urbaine, le développement durable, et l’avenir de la mobilité – tant des biens que des individus – dans un contexte urbain.
