Monica Lahra

Professor Monica Lahra is a Senior Staff Specialist Microbiologist and Medical Director of the Division of Bacteriology and the WHO Collaborating Centre for STI and AMR at New South Wales Health Pathology. She leads a team responsible for Australian surveillance programmes for the pathogenic Neisseria species, including Neisseria meningitidis, the bacterium that causes invasive meningococcal disease.
