Monica Magadi has more than 30 years of international research experience in the area of global public health, focusing mainly on HIV/AIDS, maternal/child health, and adolescent sexual/reproductive health in sub-Saharan Africa. With an academic background in Social Statistics and Demography, her methodological expertise is primarily in the area of quantitative research, and research experience has largely focused on statistical modelling (including multilevel modelling) of the social determinants of global health outcomes. She has experience in qualitative and mixed methods research as well.
