Assistant Professor, UMass Boston

Monnica is an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her research explores the effect of higher education policies on student access and success. Prior to graduate school, Monnica worked with state legislators, governor's offices, and higher education leaders on issues such as college affordability and remedial education. She began her career in higher education at Burlington County College, a public two-year college in New Jersey.
