Professor, Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities, Nottingham Trent University

Professor Murray Pratt joined Nottingham Trent University in 2008 as Academic Team Leader for Languages and International Studies and Professor of French and International Studies. He was appointed to the role of Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities in 2010. He also contributes to the work of the University in the area of Internationalisation. Professor Pratt researches issues in French, European and International Culture and has published extensively in these fields. He is a member of the Consultative Committee of European Comic Art, of the International Editorial Advisory Board of Portal: Journal of Multidisciplinary International Studies. He is an advocate for languages education and is the Co-Director of the Network for Languages (East Midlands).
