Nada Elnahla is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. She has an interdisciplinary background with a Ph.D. and an MA in comparative literature, diplomas in classical piano performance, and work experience in academia and international arts organizations. Her research interests include marketing, surveillance in the retail sector, disposal, narratology, consumer behaviour, marketing history, and the impact of COVID-19 on retail workers and consumers.
