Nader Atawnah

Dr Nader Atawnah is an Assistant Professor of Finance at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), UAE. Prior to joining UAEU, he worked at Edith Cowan University, Latrobe University, Monash University, and Australian Catholic University.

Nader is an active researcher, and his papers have been published in leading refereed journals, including Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, British Accounting Review, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Global Finance Journal, and International Review of Economics and Finance, among others. He also serves as a reviewer for different international journals and conferences.

Nader has demonstrated research and teaching excellence in his field and has been received several research awards and grants, including the best paper award at the FMCG Conference, the 2020 ECU School of Business and Law Discipline Award, the 2020 ECU Strategic Research Grant, and the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) 2021 Research Grant.
