Nancy Lane

Nancy Lane has been working as Research Associate and Executive Coach at IMD since 2002. Her areas of special interest are leadership, strategic leadership, organizational culture and group dynamics.

Her coaching activities cover work with both teams and individuals from various international companies in both open and partnership programs.

Before joining IMD she started her career in economic analysis in the insurance industry, at Allstate Research and Planning Center, and in retail banking with Wells Fargo Bank. She moved to Switzerland with her husband and began conducting research at IMD and expanded her interests into facilitation and coaching.

She obtained a master degree in Economics from the London School of Economics after her studies in economics at the University of California at Berkeley. She is trained and certified by the Tavistock Institute in facilitating groups and decoding group dynamics as well as licenced to administer and interpret the NEO psychometric and the MSCEIT emotional intelligence instruments.
