Nathan Oguche Emmanuel

Nathan Oguche Emmanuel, PhD is a university teacher, researcher and communication expert with over a decade of progressive experience in development and strategic communication, knowledge management, programme management and public policy strategy. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Mass Communication (Journalism) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He had his bachelor’s and master of Science Degrees in Mass Communication both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Currently, he teaches and researches in the Department of Mass Communication, National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja-Nigeria. Previously, he taught at the Department of Mass Communication, Kogi State University, Anyigba (now Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba) after he had served as a Senior Communications/Alumni Relations personnel at the University’s Directorate of Advancement and Support Centre. His peer-reviewed articles have appeared in both local and international journals, including the African Journalism Studies, Media Practice and Education and Journalism Practice, among others. In addition to journal publications, he has many book chapters to his credit and has appeared as a guest expert on programmes on international television stations such as the Media Monitor of the SABC Africa.
