Naveena Prakasam

Naveena is a Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, UK. Her primary areas of research focus include leadership and inclusion/exclusion in organisations. Her research extends to the digital context. She has co-authored an article on Reddit, which investigates how affordances of Reddit may shape political narratives amidst populist responses to leadership. At Southampton, she leads a core postgraduate module titled “Managing within a Global Context”.
Prior to joining Southampton Business School in September 2020, Naveena was a Lecturer in Leadership/HRM at the School of Management, Swansea University where she led and taught modules including Leadership, Human Resource Management and Business ethics.
Naveena is currently editing a Leadership textbook and is collecting data on a study about authentic leadership.
