Neil McLennan is Senior Lecturer and Director of Leadership Programmes at the University of Aberdeen. He started working life as a history teacher and was Head of History at Tynecastle High School in Edinburgh, the school Owen taught at as part of his recovery from shell shock. Neil is a Past President of the Scottish Association of Teachers of History. He chairs Wilfred Owen's Edinburgh 1917-2017, a collaboration between education, literary and arts communities to commemorate the war poets being in Edinburgh.
