Nicholas Smith

Nick moved to Sydney in 1997 to take up a lecturing position at Macquarie University, where he has been teaching since. He was Head of Department of Philosophy from 2008 to 2012 and was Director of Macquarie University's Centre for Research in Social Inclusion from 2005 to 2008. His visiting positions include a visiting research fellowship at Queen's University Belfast (2005-7) and Gastprofessur at the J.W. Goethe University of Frankfurt (winter 2010-11).
