Research Fellow, University of Sydney

Nicky is interested in reconstructing past changes in Earth's climate, using both models and proxy data, to better understand how exactly climate has changed across a range of timescales and what triggers extreme changes in climate. She is currently a research fellow at the University of Sydney exploring changes in paleogeography through time, and she was previously a research fellow in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes and Research School of Earth Sciences at the ANU, where her work focused on understanding the natural range of climate variability over the last millennium.
