Nicolas Bellouin

Professor of Climate Processes, University of Reading

In my research, I work to quantify aerosol radiative forcing of the climate system, from satellite observations and global modelling, and more generally to contribute to our understanding of the role of aerosols in the Earth System: coupling with atmospheric chemistry, the cryosphere, the ocean, and land surfaces. I am currently Chair Aviation & Climate at Sorbonne Universite, in France, working on the quantification, modelling, and reduction of the climate impacts of aviation.
