Nicolas de Roos is a Professor of Economics at the University of Liverpool. He does empirical and theoretical research in industrial organisation, with a particular interest in how firms coordinate their pricing, the obfuscation practices used by firms, and the dynamics of retail petrol markets.

He is also a Co-Editor of the Economic Record, and has acted as an expert in antitrust cases in Australia.
