Dr Nikki Wedgwood is a senior lecturer in the Sydney School of Health Sciences at the University of Sydney. A sociologist with a passion for social justice, she teaches social determinants of health and the social model of disability to Health Science students. Her research areas include transitioning to adulthood for people with disability, sociology of sport, gendered embodiment and life history research.
