Senior Specialist Scientist, Environment and Health Research Unit, South African Medical Research Council

Dr Nisha Naicker is senior specialist scientist at the Environment and Health Research Unit, South African Medical Research Council, and is an honorary senior lecturer at the School of Public Health, University of the Witwatersrand. She is a medical doctor that specialised as a Public Health Specialist in 2007. She obtained her PhD in Public Health in 2012. Her research focuses on urban health, exposure to persistent toxic substances and children’s environmental health.
