Nishanathe has also worked for Australian Personal Computer as a journalist, has worked as an editor for Sri Lankan IT magazines and has worked as a News Producer for MTV, Sri Lanka, prior to embarking on a career in IT that lasted for two decades.

He has extensively worked within the information technology product development in Australia, Sri Lanka & USA constantly seeking avenues to bridge gaps between technology and humanity using technology as a tool.
