Nombulelo Precious Mncayi

Lecturer and researcher, North-West University

Nombulelo Precious Mncayi is an emerging young female researcher with a passion for the analysis of socio-economic issues. She holds a PhD in economics, which focused on alternative labour market indicators and currently appointed as a lecturer in the School of Economic Sciences at the North-West University, South Africa. Her expertise are in teaching (macroeconomic related subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels) and research including supervision at Masters and PhD level.

She has published several research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals and has contributed to a number of conference proceedings. Her research focus is strongly grounded in the broad field of economic development, with a special interest in youth and graduate labour market dynamics, policy formulation and poverty-related studies.
