Noreen Byrne

I am acting Director of the Centre for Co-operative Studies. I am also co-director of the MSc Co-operatives, Agri-Food and Sustainable Development. My main area of research has focused on co-operatives, in particular agricultural and credit unions. My main interest is in relation to member empowerment and member relationship, centralisation/decentralisation in co-operatives, co-operatives and resilience.
