Associate Professor in Law, Monash University

Normann Witzleb is an Associate Professor at Monash Faculty of Law and the Convenor of the Privacy and Access to Information Group in the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law. He holds dual qualifications as a German and Australian lawyer.

His research focus is on privacy and data protection laws, as well as on the law of torts and remedies. Prior to joining Monash University in 2008, he worked at the University of Western Australia (2001-2007) and the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) (1996-2000), where he also obtained his PhD.
